About

I'm a product designer and musician living in Rio, Brazil (and yes, I'm Brazilian too).

My work thrives at the intersection of interface and visual design, rapid prototyping, and system architecture. I bring a trained eye and a taste-making sensibility to every project, ensuring that products I contribute are not just functional but aesthetically relevant, resonating with users' needs.

In my spare time (a rare commodity since becoming a parent), I immerse myself in "side" projects ranging from software and design explorations that solve my own daily frustrations to creating music and performances with my "band", Supervised. Once upon a time, I occasionally called myself (and was called) a photographer and somehow managed to get one of my pictures purchased and featured as a hero image on a Strava landing page—a small victory in a career I never pursued!

I'm an introvert, and somewhat allergic to process for process's sake, unnecessary hierarchies, and those stressful performance reviews. I've been working remotely since 2013 (before it was "cool"!?). I guess I only survived five years at Meta because of Covid since it helped me secure a remote position. Ok, working at Oculus → Meta Quest also helped! Would I have lasted in an office environment with all those distractions and social obligations? Probably not 🤷‍♂️.
