Design a new Messenger client for Meta Quest that respected established patterns while innovating on input methods unique to VR.
- Contribution
Led the end-to-end design of Quest's Messenger client, from partnering with UX research through information architecture, interface designs and engineering specifications. Created novel interaction models for multiple profiles, quick messages, and voice dictation.
- Impact
Alignment with Messenger leadership up to VP level. Featured at Connect alongside Quest 2 launch. The integration provided a critical social foundation for Quest for Work strategy. Significantly increased social participation metrics and time spent on the platform.
